GEC 25 Year Impact Report 2026 - Flipbook - Page 29
A BORDERLESS GEC based in Dublin 8 will see startups
and scaling companies join the GEC Community but will
be provided with a pathway to connect to other hubs both
nationally and internationally through the GEC Co Connect
Network initiative. Co Connect Network will provide soft
landing supports for companies looking to deepen their
international connectivity. The GEC will act as a gateway
between Ireland and global innovation ecosystems.
The GEC will:
Deepen International Connectivity - Shifting from
a Dublin-based hub to globally networked platform for
scaling companies.
Structure Collaboration Across the Irish Hub
Ecosystem – to Align with regional hubs to position
Ireland as a connected innovation campus.
Develop our sector-led Innovation Clusters to
enhance Global Relevance.
Elevating the GEC’s Role in Scaling –
strengthening out startup support to scale-up
acceleration. Strengthen our alignment with DCC, LEO
Dublin City, Enterprise Ireland, Diageo and Furthr to
deliver programmatic supports and initiatives.
Digital & Hybrid Expansion of the GEC Model –
a borderless model offering digital layers for events,
programmes and supports for companies outside Dublin
and Ireland.
Strategic Partnerships with Academia,
Corporates & Government - strengthen the GEC’s
position as a connector across sectors. Access to talent,
research, projects, policy.
Brand, Visibility & Global Positioning - actively
shape how the GEC is perceived internationally be a
recognised node in the global innovation network.
Develop our corporate partnerships further
both nationally and internationally.
Central to the GEC’s future direction is a
commitment to net zero by 2030, positioning the
Centre as a national leader and exemplar in embedding
sustainability at the core of enterprise and innovation.
All the while maintaining our Founder
First Focus.
